A chiller is a cooling water device that
can provide constant temperature, constant current, and constant pressure, and
is one of the core components of an
industrial cooling water system. In the industry, there are two types of air-cooled
chillers and water-cooled chillers. The chillers are divided into
low-temperature chillers and normal-temperature chillers in terms of
temperature control. The normal temperature is generally controlled within the
range of 0 degrees to 35 degrees. The temperature control of the low-temperature
machine is generally in the range of 0 degrees to minus 100 degrees.
The chiller includes four main components:
compressor, evaporator, condenser, and expansion valve, so as to achieve the
cooling and heating effect of the unit.
Chillers are commonly known as freezers,
refrigerators, ice water machines, chilled water machines, coolers, etc.
Because it is widely used in all walks of life, there are countless names. With
the continuous development of the chiller industry, more and more people have begun
to pay attention to any choice in the chiller industry. It is more and more
important for human beings. In terms of product structure,
"high-efficiency water-cooled screw units", "water source heat
pump units", " "Screw Heat Recovery units", "High-Efficiency
Heat Pump Units", "Screw Low-Temperature Refrigeration units",
etc. are very competitive, its nature principle is a multifunctional machine,
which removes the liquid vapor through compression or heat absorption
refrigeration cycle.
The vapor compression chiller consists of
four main components: compressor, evaporator, condenser, and part of the
metering device, which realizes different refrigerants in the form of a vapor
compression refrigeration cycle.
The absorption chiller uses water as the
refrigerant and relies on the strong affinity between the water and the lithium
bromide solution to achieve the cooling effect. Chillers are generally used in
air conditioning units and industrial cooling.
In air conditioning systems, chilled water
is usually distributed to heat exchangers or coils in the air handling units or
other types of terminal equipment for cooling in their respective spaces, and
then the cooling water is redistributed back to the condenser to be cooled.
In industrial applications, chilled water
or other liquids are pumped through process or laboratory equipment. Industrial
chillers are used in all walks of life to control the cooling of products,
mechanisms, and plant machinery. Chillers can generally be divided into
water-cooled and air-cooled types according to the cooling form. Technically,
the energy efficiency ratio of water-cooled is 300 to 500 kcal/h higher than
that of air-cooled; in installation, water-cooled must be included in the
cooling tower before it can be used. Air-cooled is movable without other
assistance.
